Aunt Amanda Musgrave, aged 78 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Heady, near Dale, Thursday evening at 7 o'clock after an illness of long duration of chronic diseases. The funeral services were conducted at the Presbyterian church, of which denomination she has been a faithful member since childhood, at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Rev. J.W. Condiff, the pastor, having charge of the service.
Mrs. Musgrave was married to James Musgrave in 1848. To this union were born 8 children, three of whom with the father, has precceded her to the great beyond. Her son Moses Musgrave, and daughters, Mrs Josie Simpson, Mrs Tillie Heady, Mrs Mary Brooner and Mrs Belle Springston, together with many other relatives and friends are left to mourn the loss of a good, christian mother and friend.
